Hello and Welcome to Nature Thyme

‘We’ve been going to Ali’s amazing gardening club at Four Acre Farm in Ringwood since it first began. She is a lovely lady who puts so much thought and creativity into the sessions which include planting, weeding, bug hunting and various crafts.
The set up is well thought out with a wooden structure with kitchen and bench table, a very large polytunnel with tables to do arts and crafts in on cooler days and an on-site toilet.

The farm is beautiful with so many stunning flowers, growing vegetables, a pond full of natural wildlife and a flock of adorable ducks that the children can feed. The resident scarecrow is a hit with the children too!’

‘We really look forward to our weekly visit to Green Shoots gardening club (myself included!) Ali is the most wonderful person and is brilliant with all the children, making sure that they all feel special and heard. She encourages them and praises their efforts which puts a big smile on their faces. It’s a relaxed structure which is perfect for us as it allows us the flexibility we need as a family of 5.
The farm is beautiful and peaceful – a great place to connect with nature and for the children to learn not only where their food comes from, but how to grow it for themselves from seed to plate. Thank you, Ali, for all you do to make the group so special!’

‘Green Shoots is a lovely gardening club for kids. The setting is stunning with a variety of wild flowers for the kids to forage and pick. Ali is extremely kind and welcoming and always thinks of lovely crafts for the kids, coupled with a tasty snack and story. It’s a great morning out for all the family!’
