Fizz lives in Dilly-Dally Woods, next to the farm. At night she sleeps peacefully on an old beech tree stump, in the middle of a quiet circle of trees.
Fizz is an oyster mushroom with a wide, white cap and a gracefully curved stalk. Her stalk leans slightly, so she walks with the help of a branch she’s turned into a walking stick — or rather, a staff. There’s something quite magical about Fizz. She’s calm, kind, and full of wisdom — like the true forest guardian she is, with a twinkle in her eye and a heart full of loving energy.
The gentle old mushroom spends her days caring for the woods and all the wildlife who live there. She sings to the trees, hums to the flowers, and always stops for a chat with passing bees, butterflies or animals. She keeps the woodland tidy too — quietly picking up litter and gently reminding visitors to look after nature.
She’s full of knowing, kindness and quiet strength — and although she treasures her peaceful woodland life, she also loves spending time with her great friend Wizz and all the other fruit, flower and vegetables at Dilly-Dally Farm.
